The participants, drawn from various security and law enforcement agencies, visited the Command as part of the Defence Intelligence Officers’ Course 22/2026 National Study Tour themed, “Operational Intelligence for National Crisis Prevention and Response.” The engagement focused on strengthening intelligence-driven strategies for crisis prevention and national security.

Representing the Commandant of the Defence Intelligence College, Group Captain Abdulaziz Adisa said the study tour brought together middle-level officers from various security and law enforcement agencies to deepen their understanding of operational intelligence and crisis management.
He explained that Kano was selected for the study because of its relative peace and stability, adding that the exercise was designed to examine the factors responsible for the state’s peaceful environment, identify existing security challenges, and draw lessons that could strengthen national crisis prevention and response efforts.
