The Customs Area Controller of the Apapa Command , Comptroller Emmanuel Oshoba has charged the 200 newly promoted officers of the Command to demonstrate greater commitment to their responsibilities.
During the decoration ceremony at the Command on 18th September, 2025, he encouraged them to ensure that they uphold the highest ethical standards required by the Service.
Oshoba noted that the promotions were a testament to hard work and dedication to duty charging the newly promoted officers to demonstrate greater commitment to their responsibilities, as their new positions now require smart work and impactful results.
According to the CAC , the promoted officers include ;eight Deputy Comptrollers promoted to the Comptroller rank, 30 Assistant Comptrollers to Deputy Comptroller and 35 Superintendents to Chief Superintendent of Customs.
He expressed appreciation to the Comptroller-General of Customs, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi and the NCS management team for ensuring that merit was upheld as the guiding principle in the current promotion exercise.
