The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) is set to host the National Civil Aviation Security Programme (NCASP), Aviation Secuity Awareness and Enlightenment Symposium on April 29, 2025.
According to the NCAA Director, Public Affairs and Consumer Michael Achimugu who disclosed this in a press release, the event, themed “The Fundamentality of Security in Achieving the Safe Skies Goal,” will hold at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Ikeja, G.R.A, Lagos.
He added that it aims to promote security consciousness, foster collaboration, and enhance aviation security governance across Nigeria In alignment with the standards of ICAO Annex 17.
He informed that the symposium will be coordinated by the Director Aviation Security (NCAA), Ben Omogo.It will also focus on several key objectives, including promoting a deeper understanding of the regulatory requirements governing airstrip development and operations, offering clear insights into NCAA guidelines for certification.
Stakeholders, from both public and private airstrip owners and operators, aviation officials from state governments will be in attendance.
