The Customs Area Controller of Katsina Command, Comptroller Mohammed Abubakar Umar has solicited the royal support of the Daura Emirate for the Nigeria Customs Service in the fight against smuggling, revenue collection drive and promotion of legitimate trade.
The Customs Controller made this request when he visited His Royal Highness Faruk Umar Faruk, the Emir of Daura.
Comptroller Umar who expressed appreciation to the royal father for his fatherly disposition to the NCS over the years, added the fight against all forms of criminality requires community support at all times.
The new Katsina Customs Area Controller (CAC)also expressed warm Independence anniversary greetings of the Comptroller General of Customs, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi to the monarch and the entire people of Daura Emirate
The Emir thanked the CAC for the visit and prayed for success in his official responsibilities while wishing him an achievement filled tour of duty
