Tinubu Carves Out Marine Ministry from Transportation

...Deploys 41 year old lawmaker as minister

Apparently in response to popular industry demands, President Bola Tinubu has carved out a Federal Ministry Marine and Blue Economy from the Ministry of Transportation.

The new creation which was made known in the recently announced assignment of portfolios to new ministers will be headed by Bunmi Tunji Ojo

The new Marine and Blue Economy minister is a 41 year old politician from Ondo and a federal lawmaker representing Akoko North East/North West Federal constituency.

Tunji Ojo is expected to bring fresh ideas into the new ministry being one of the youngest members in the yet to be inaugurated Federal Executive Council under President Tinubu

The old Transportation Ministry is now to be headed by Olugboyega Otetola, a former Governor of Osun State.
