The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has released the final list of successful candidates for the 2024/2025 recruitment exercise into the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Customs II (ASC II).
In a statement issued on Monday by the National Public Relations Officer, Deputy Comptroller of Customs Abdullahi Maiwada, the Service advised candidates to visit the official NCS website, www.customs.gov.ng, or check selected national newspapers to confirm their recruitment status and obtain information on the next stage of the exercise.
According to the statement, successful candidates will also receive notifications through their registered email addresses and SMS, containing detailed instructions on the recruitment process.
The NCS disclosed that candidates are required to log on to update.customs.gov.ng using their National Identification Number (NIN) or registered email address to upload a valid Medical Certificate of Fitness obtained from a government-recognised hospital.
The statement noted that the portal for uploading medical certificates will become active on Wednesday, 29 July 2026, and candidates are expected to complete the process within one week of its activation.
In addition, successful applicants are required to update their current state of residence on the portal and formally accept their provisional offer of appointment by clicking the “Accept Offer” button.
Following this, the Service will issue Trainee Identification Numbers within one week, while details on documentation and physical screening, including dates, venues and requirements, will be communicated through official channels.
The Service urged all successful candidates to strictly adhere to the outlined procedures and timelines, warning that failure to comply with any of the requirements could lead to disqualification and forfeiture of the provisional offer of appointment.
On behalf of the Nigeria Customs Service Board, the Comptroller-General of Customs congratulated the successful candidates on their achievement and welcomed them to a career built on professionalism, integrity and dedicated service to the nation.
