NLNG Shipping and Marine Services Limited (NSML) and Temile Development Company has signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) for ship construction supervision services.
According to a press release signed by Sophia Horsfall , General Manager, External Relations and Sustainable Development, the letter of intent was signed on Wednesday and the partnership is for the construction of a Very Large Gas Carrier (VLGC) at Hyundai Heavy Industries Company Limited in South Korea.
Mr. Abdulkadir Ahmed, NSML’s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, on the sidelines of the ceremony which was held at Dorchester Hotel in Park Lane, London thanked the management of Temile Development Company for partnering with NSML noting that the collaboration builds on the success of NSML’s supervision of the LPG Alfred Temile 10. The construction supervision services are expected to commence in February 2027 and continue until the vessel’s delivery in January 2028.
