Deputy Comptroller Nura Miko has been posted to the Ports Terminal Multiservices Limited (PTML) Command of Nigeria Customs Service as Acting Area Controller.
Miko, who was until the recent deployment, the DC in charge of revenue at Apapa Port Command is expected to take over from Comptroller Joe Anani who has been moved to the Tin Can Island Port Command.
At Apapa Command,Miko led a team of officers to uncover ₦241b unpaid revenue through meticulous system check and succeeded in recovering some payments from the sum.
The Comptroller General of Nigeria Customs Service, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi,last year at the 2025 CGC Conference honoured Miko with a Certificate of Excellence for his exceptional feat in the recoveries .
Frank Onyeka, Controller in charge of Tin Can Island Port Command has also been elevated to the rank of Acting Assistant Comptroller General of Customs
