Maritime Workers Union Promotes Comrades Oniha, Ikemefuna, 11 Others

President General of the Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria has approved the promotion of Erazua Oniha as General Secretary of the Union with elevation of twelve other employees.

According to the MWUN Head of Media, Comrade John Kennedy Ikemefuna who disclosed this in a press release, the promoted staff of the Union had since assumed their new designations as approved and signed by Comrade Adewale Adeyanju, the President General of the Union.

The promoted staff are Comrade Oniha Erazua now Secretary General of the Union who now takes over as the Acting. SG, Comrade Ekpo John, the Deputy Secretary General who now takes over as the new DSG Administration and Human Resources , Comrade Kenneth Ibanga, Deputy Secretary General, now DSG Protocol/International Relations, Comrade Ajayi A. Akinwumi now Deputy Secretary General, Organizing/Operation of the Union and overseer of the Seamen Branch, Comrade Augustine Onoriode, now Deputy Secretary General (DSG), Comrade Okoro Kalu now General Secretary of Shipping Branch of the Union.

Others are Comrade Joseph John Ekwere now Ag General Secretary of Nigeria Ports Authority (NPA) Branch of the Union, Comrade Olungwe Dagogo now Ag. General Secretary of Seafarers Branch of the Union, Comrade Garba Biu Mohammed now Ag. Assistant General Secretary (AGS) to Shipping Branch of the Union on Ship Data Management, Comrade R. Adebayo as Accountant to oversee NPA/Seafarers Branches accounts respectively, Comrade Iyabo Ajibaye now Account to oversee Dockworkers/Shipping Branches respectively, Comrade Owolabi A. Mark now Senior Legal Officer of the Union and Comrade John Kennedy Ikemefuna now Senior Media Officer/ Head Media of the Union.
