“FAKE NEWS ALERT. The attention of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has been drawn to a fake content currently circulating on social media. The NCS wishes to state clearly that these claims are false and did not originate from the Service,” the statement said.

They also included requirements for the alleged exercise, such as dress codes and identification documents.

The NCS advised applicants and the general public to ignore the misleading information and rely only on updates released through its official communication channels.

The NCS has repeatedly emphasized that its recruitment process is entirely free and has warned applicants against making payments to individuals or groups claiming to facilitate recruitment.

The Service also reiterated its warning about scammers and fake announcements targeting thousands of applicants seeking updates on the recruitment process, urging candidates to remain vigilant and verify all information through official NCS platforms.
