He is expressed confidence in President Tinubu’s chances of winning the 2027 election saying that Peter Obi will emerge second with the African Democratic Congress (ADC) coming third while the PDP will take fourth position
While alleging being sidelined by the PDP, he expressed support for the Ekiti State Governor and President Bola Tinubu who are members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC)
The former governor who admitted being invited to the recently held National Working Committee meeting of the PDP said he deliberately stayed away because he is not being accorded due respect
Fayose said he has sacrificed for the party by fighting for it’s survival under former President Muhamadu Buhari government, which he described as tyrannical
According to him, he is committed to sustaining the internal fight within the party and plans not to join any other party whenever he’s done with PDP.
