The organizing committee of the Expatriates Business Awards, (EBA) has announced that the 2025 edition is scheduled to hold on Sunday, July 6th, 2025, at the Grand Ball Room of the Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island,
Lagos.

Miss Odunola Abayomi, the Director of Awards, said the Awards promises to be a historic gathering of excellence, diversity, and cultural celebration. She reaffirmed the Awards’ unique vision to recognize and honour the vital contributions of expatriates, foreign businesses, and migrant communities to Nigeria’s economic landscape.

She emphasized that Nigeria is more than a country as it is a vibrant hub of opportunity where dreams transcend borders. The Awards shine a spotlight on expatriates who have built businesses, created jobs, and made significant contributions to Nigeria’s GDP.

This year’s ceremony will feature an exquisite blend of exhibitions, music, comedy, and cultural performances, in a setting designed to foster unity, diplomacy, and celebration. The selection process, currently underway, includes public nominations, opinion polls, and independent research to ensure merit-based recognition.

Powered by Pun Communications Ltd. and held under the auspices of the TEBA Foundation for Humanity, the Awards remain committed to upholding integrity and excellence. What began in 2020 as The Ethnic Business Awards (TEBA) has since evolved into a broader, sharper initiative. Miss Abayomi recalled the success of the inaugural edition, hosted by Daddy Freeze and Ghanaian actress Ella Mensah, which set a standard of class and inclusivity.

“Today, we gather not only to announce this landmark event but to celebrate a vision, one that acknowledges the profound impact of those who, though not Nigerian by birth, have chosen to invest, build, and thrive on our soil. This award is our collective ‘thank you’ to those shaping our economic future with innovation, courage, and commitment.”

“Our legacy is rooted in diversity. As we unveil the 2025 edition, we do so with expanded vision and a renewed commitment to honoring the migrant voices shaping Nigeria’s economy. We invite the media, diplomatic corps, corporate stakeholders, and the international community to join us on July 6th for a night that will celebrate excellence and the global heartbeat of Nigerian enterprise.”
