The newly appointed Registrar and Chief Executive of the Council for the Regulation of Freight Forwarding in Nigeria, Mr. Igwe Kinsley Onyekachi has visited the Marina Lagos head office of the council for the first time on Thursday since he was appointed about a month ago
Sources at the council stated that Onyekachi’s visit was in company of officials from the Federal Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy and he was warmly received by CRFFN Directors on ground.
They added that the council staff were full of optimism as they lauded the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola decision to end the vacuum of the council not having a substantive CEO.
It was not confirmed if the former Acting Registrar, Chinyere Uromta has formally handed over to the new CEO.
Onyekachi’s appointment has ended the over one year period of suspense and anxiety that enveloped the council after Barrister Sam Nwakohu, the former Registrar exited upon completion of his tenure
