5.Target areas of convergence for the planned meetings/rallies are Eagle Square Abuja, 36 state capitals and 774 local government areas
6. Adegboruwa has written to inform the Inspector General of Police about the planned rallies/meetings
7. The federal government, state governments, traditional rulers and some community leaders have been trying to dissuade citizens from the protest, calling for patience with the government
8. The IGP has said the protest should not be allowed to degenerate into violence or destruction
9. Citizens are divided over the proprietary or otherwise of the rallies
10. Reactions monitored on social media and from the streets indicate that the cause for protest has gained acceptability across ethnic, religious and professional affiliations.
