The newly appointed Registrar and Chief Executive of the Council for the Regulation of Freight Forwarding in Nigeria, Mr. Igwe Kinsley Onyekachi is yet to resume at the organisation’s Head Office two weeks after he was appointed
When contacted for inquiry on why he is yet to take over from Chinyere Uromta, the council’s Acting Registrar, Onyekachi declined comments and directed our reporter to the council’s spokesperson, Uduak Ekpenyong.
A call to Ekpenyong was unanswered as at the time of writing this report.
Onyekachi’s appointment was announced by the Federal Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy earlier in November and has raised hopes of CRFFN and the freight forwarding community . There has also been a mild expression of mixed feelings by some freight forwarders who has declined comments on his appointment
