The National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF) has issued an urgent call to its members with suspended Customs licenses to submit their details for reconsideration by the Comptroller-General of Customs Bashir Adewale Adeniyi.
This development follows a recent letter from NAGAFF to the CGC , which prompted a positive response from the customs authority. The CGC has requested a list of suspended licenses, paving the way for potential resolution.
This was disclosed in a press release by NAGAFF Secretary-General, Godfrey Emeka Nwosu, on 26th April, 2025.
According to Nwosu, affected members are required to provide specific information, including license holder name, license number, suspension date and reason, and contact details. Submissions can be made via email or in person at NAGAFF headquarters in Apapa, Lagos, by May 12, 2025.
He also said that the association will compile and forward the list to the CGC, aiming for a swift and favorable resolution. Members are advised to contact the NAGAFF Secretariat directly for assistance.
