
The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has confirmed that fire has broken out at Terminal 2 of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) in Lagos.
In a statement, FAAN said its Aerodrome Rescue and Firefighting Service (ARFFS) has been deployed to the scene and is working to contain the fire.
The authority assures the public that there has been no reported casualties or loss of life as of the time of the statement.
FAAN added that it would provide further updates as more information becomes available.
