Federal Character Commission Chairman,  Omidiran Congratulates Customs CG, Adeniyi on Tenure Extension ‎

‎The Executive Chairman of the Federal Character Commission (FCC), Hon. Hulayat Motunrayo Omidiran, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for extending the tenure of Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, describing the decision as a well-deserved recognition of exceptional leadership and service to the nation.

 

‎In a congratulatory message issued on Monday, Omidiran praised  Adeniyi’s dedication, reforms, and contributions to strengthening the Nigeria Customs Service.

‎“The extension of your tenure is a testament to your outstanding leadership, dedication and the remarkable progress recorded under your stewardship of the Nigeria Customs Service.Your commitment to reforms, accountability and service delivery has continued to inspire confidence among Nigerians and stakeholders.”, she said.

‎The FCC Chairman highlighted Adeniyi’s professionalism, transparency, improved revenue generation, trade facilitation, and enhanced border security, noting that these achievements have significantly boosted Nigeria’s economic growth and national interests.

‎The tenure extension of Adeniyi, who assumed office in 2023, is seen as a strategic move to sustain ongoing reforms within the revenue-generating and security-conscious agency.
