Mohammed Bello-Koko, Managing Director of Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) today shared ideas on how best to achieve seamless port operations and reiterated Nigeria’s capacity as a leading maritime country in West and Central Africa.
Speaking at the 2023 summit of the Nigeria Economic Summit Group (NESG) today Mr. Bello-Koko spoke on the role of Nigerian Ports Authority in Eliminating Constraints to Port Operations.
While describing the ports as pivotal in the renewed hope agenda of President Bola Tinubu, he urged all port users including importers, exporters, manufacturers, haulage operators and representatives of various government organisations to join hand in sailing togetger to success by jointly harnessing Nigeria’s Maritime Potentials.
His paper which aligned with the NESG 2023 Summit theme “Sustainable Economic Transformation and Inclusion” also highlighted the various milestones the NPA achieved in the last three years which is contributing to Nigeria’s preparedness for the African Continental Free Trade Area(AfCFTA) agreement, which Nigeria is a signatory.
