Describing the event as ‘the biggest show to date,’ the promoters have assured that this year’s edition promises to bring together no fewer than 300 exhibitors and participants to the event.

Already the continent’s largest beauty and cosmetics trade event, now in its seventh edition, Beauty West Africa will be expanding into a fourth exhibition hall from November 26 to November 28 at the Landmark Centre on Victoria Island, Lagos.

With over 300 exhibitors participating from around the world, about 5,500 beauty and hair professionals are expected to attend the event, as country pavilions have so far been confirmed for China, Turkey, Pakistan and Korea, while exhibition delegations are expected from Egypt, Europe, the United Arab Emirates and the United States (U.S.).

Its promoters say the exhibition will also spotlight local entrepreneurs promoting Nigeria’s small and medium enterprises (SMEs).

Seminars, demonstrations and tutorials and the Conference running alongside the exhibition will give exhibitors an opportunity to showcase new products and highlight beauty trends and techniques to a vast audience. And new for this year will be a ‘Battle of the Barbers challenge’ on day three of the Conference.

Senior Group Exhibition Manager of Beauty West Africa, organized by BtoB Events,

Ken Baber, expressed delight over the show’s annual growth in popularity both with exhibitors and visitors.

“We are looking forward to welcoming the huge number of participants to this year’s Beauty West Africa. The extensive range of SMEs, importers, distributors, retailers and beauty and hair professionals all contribute to the success and popularity of Africa’s leading beauty, cosmetics and hair trade event.

“The consistent increase in demand each year has meant we have now had to expand into the fourth hall at the Landmark Exhibition Centre. With several new products and businesses on display, our visitors from Nigeria and across West Africa will appreciate the opportunities to find new trade partners and build on existing business relationships with our many repeat exhibitors,” Baber said.

This year’s Beauty West Africa is being supported by representatives of the Federation of West Africa Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FEWACCI), who will also be speaking at the conference.

“By supporting BWA 2024, FEWACCI can promote the beauty and cosmetics industry as a key sector in the region’s growing economy. The event aligns with FEWACCI’s mission to enhance trade relations within ECOWAS and across the globe, allowing exhibitors and participants to access a lucrative market,” it said.

To assist exhibitors, whether new or returning, BtoB Events offers a range of support packages. “We will help you every step of the way. From visas to hotels, from SIM-cards and Wi-Fi to stand build and design, we want our exhibitors to connect seamlessly with the region’s largest importers, retailers and distributors, who are looking for new suppliers to represent,” Baber added.
