
Nigerian Shippers’ Council (NSC) marked a significant milestone with the signing of the 2025 bond between the Executive Secretary/Chief Executive Officer of the Council, Dr. Akutah Pius, and the Council’s management team at the just concluded two-day Special Management Retreat, held at the De Phantom Continental Hotel, Lekki, Lagos.
The symbolic ceremony, which involved Directors, Heads of Departments, and Units, reinforces the Council’s unwavering commitment to upholding its core values, ethical standards, and operational excellence.
Dr. Akutah emphasized the importance of teamwork and accountability in driving the Council’s mission to promote trade facilitation and economic development.
“This bond signing marks a new chapter in NSC’s journey towards excellence. It symbolizes our collective resolve to work together towards achieving our goals and objectives and making a meaningful impact on the Nigerian economy.” he stated.
He also urged all stakeholders and members of the Council to support the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and the Honourable Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola, CON, in ensuring sustainable national development through strategic collaboration and responsible service delivery.
