The Women’s International Shipping & Trading Association (WISTA) Nigeria has congratulated the Super Falcons for their recent triumph, describing the team’s performance as a shining example of resilience, excellence, and national pride.
In a statement issued by its President, Dr. Odunayo Ani, he praised the Super Falcons for their remarkable display of strength, unity, and professionalism, noting that their success resonates far beyond the football pitch.
Dr. Ani emphasised that the team’s achievement serves as a powerful symbol of what Nigerian girls can accomplish when given the right opportunities and support.
Highlighting the Falcons’ journey, Dr. Ani applauded their unwavering spirit , teamwork and qualities. She said it reflects the essence of Nigerian excellence. She further stated that the victory not only brings glory to the nation but also ignites hope and inspiration in millions of young girls across the country.
WISTA Nigeria also commended the Federal Government for its proactive support, particularly the prompt payment of allowances and bonuses before and during the tournament , a move Dr. Ani credited with boosting team morale and contributing significantly to their success.
