Hon. Princess Chinwe Nnabuife Calls for Increased Women Representation in Politics

...Reaffirms Support for Governor Soludo’s Re-election

Today at the National Assembly, during the high-level Media Briefing on the Reserved Seats for Women Bill, Hon. Princess Chinwe Clara Nnabuife (Adaejiejemba), Member representing Orumba North and South Federal Constituency, emphasized the urgent need for institutional support to amplify women’s voices in governance.

Hon. Nnabuife, a firm advocate for gender inclusion, expressed strong support for the legislative push to guarantee more reserved seats for women across Nigeria’s political landscape. She described it as a “strategic and necessary step toward balancing representation, equity, and national progress.”

While addressing the media, Hon. Nnabuife applauded the gender-inclusive strides of His Excellency, Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, CFR, describing him as “a Governor who not only supports women in politics but practices it in appointments and empowerment programs.”

She further called on all Anambra citizens to rally behind Governor Soludo’s re-election, citing his visionary leadership and commitment to women and youth development.

“Re-electing Governor Soludo is not just about continuity; it is about sustaining the hope and progress women have seen under his administration. We need his leadership to deepen women’s political participation and drive inclusive growth in Anambra State,” she stated.
