The Former pioneer Chairman of the Council for the Regulation of Freight Forwarding in Nigeria (CRFFN), Iju Tony Nwanbuike, has congratulated the Comptroller General of the Nigeria Customs Service, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, on the occasion of his 60th birthday, describing him as a leader whose years in service have been defined by purpose, discipline, and vision.
Nwanbuike said the milestone birthday offered an opportunity to celebrate not just the age of the Customs helmsman, but the depth of commitment and clarity of purpose that have characterised his career in public service.
According to him, Adeniyi has consistently demonstrated that authority is most impactful when exercised with humility, professionalism, and foresight. He noted that as Comptroller General of Customs, Adeniyi’s leadership has continued to leave lasting imprints across the Service, strengthening institutions, inspiring confidence among stakeholders, and shaping a future anchored on reform and professionalism.
Nwanbuike further wished the Customs boss good health, renewed strength, and continued clarity of purpose in the years ahead.
