NSML Upgrades Visual Identity, Adopts New Logo

In a bid to project itself as a world class Nigerian maritime services company, Nigeria LNG Shipping and Marine Services Limited (NSML) has undergone a rebranding process by adopting a new logo .

The NSML Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer , Abdulkadir Kere Ahmed who unveiled the new logo at the rebranding event on 24th March ,2025 said the organization’s decision to rebrand stems from a desire to have a modern corporate visual identity that is reflective of the new NSML and its future aspirations, expand its footprint, embrace global opportunities, and position it as a truly world-class shipping and marine services company.

According to him, the new corporate identity will also depict the organization’s drive for sustainability whilst also future-proofing the company.He added that the transformation is not merely cosmetic but it reflects a strategic shift from the established foundations to deepen investment in technology, broaden collaborations with international partners, and continue to uphold the reputation as a thriving Nigerian brand doing global business in line with international best practices.

Ahmed further said by demonstrating world-class competence, efficiency, and reliability, NSML is reinforcing Nigeria’s reputation as a trusted stakeholder and partner in the global maritime industry as its enhanced profile will attract global partnerships, investments, and joint ventures, creating new avenues for economic growth and development in Nigeria.

The NSML MD said the company’s enhanced global profile will support Nigeria’s aspirations for leadership in Africa’s maritime landscape and open doors for Nigerian maritime businesses to establish themselves as trusted contributors to international trade, logistics, and energy transportation.

He affirmed that NSML has long been a champion of innovation, excellence, and dedication to Nigeria’s maritime sector as well as been a critical enabler of ensuring the seamless delivery of LNG to different terminal around the world, by providing efficient technical management services to the vessels that are involved in the activity.

In its continuous quest for excellence, Ahmed noted tha the company established a state-of-the-art training and research centre which is the first of its kind in the region, the Maritime Centre of Excellence (MCOE) within the NLNG Plant complex in Bonny Island. He stated that the pioneering facility offers cutting-edge shipping operations simulation, providing immersive, real-world experiences that equip seafarers, marine engineers, and industry professionals with the skills they need to excel, and for career progression and growth in the maritime industry.

The NLNG General Manager, External Relations and Sustainable Development, Sophia Horsfall, while delivering her welcome address at the rebranding event said the NSML rebranding milestone signals its readiness to compete, collaborate, and contribute to the advancement of the global shipping industry right from the shores of Nigeria.

She explained that at the inception, NLNG’s operations opened the opportunity for the emergence of two strategic enterprises for the management of its products shipment to the local and international markets.
