NPF Interrogates Blord Group of Companies Over Alleged Fraud, Violation of CBN Act

The Federal Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) of the Nigeria Police Force and National Cybercrime Center ( NPF-NCCC) is presently interrogating the CEO of Blord Group of Companies , Linus Williams over alleged fraud and violation of the CBN Act.

The Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi who disclosed this in a press statement announced that the action was taken as a result of complaints being lodged against the Company.

He assured that NPF will take every necessary step in the investigation to ensure that the nation’s cyberspace is free of fraudulent activities.

“The FCID (NPF-NCCC) is currently investigating complaints lodged against BLORD GROUP, BLORD REAL ESTATE LTD, BLORD JETPAYE LIMITED, and BILLPOINT TECHNOLOGY. These offences include allegations bothering on cryptocurrency fraud, aiding internet fraud, computer-related fraud, terrorism funding, and non-compliance with regulatory frameworks.”

“We will do due diligence in our investigations. Our cyber space in Nigeria must be safe and secured by all means. We are committed to achieving that” the statement read.
