NBA, Badagry Branch to Celebrate Pius Akutah with Special Publication

The Badagry Branch of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has announced plans to honor Dr. Akutah Pius, Executive Secretary and Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Shippers’ Council (NSC), through a dedicated publication to recognize his commitment to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

This forthcoming edition will feature insightful articles authored by respected legal practitioners and jurists. It aims to document Dr. Akutah’s impactful leadership and contributions to the progress of the Nigerian Shippers’ Council, particularly in the context of national policy reforms and economic development.

The announcement was made during a recent courtesy visit to the NSC Headquarters in Lagos, led by Chairman of the NBA Badagry Branch, Barr. Arigbabuwo Lawal. During the visit, Barr. Lawal praised the Shippers’ Council for its strategic role in driving the Marine and Blue Economy sector, enhancing port operations, and advancing trade facilitation.

In response, Dr. Akutah expressed deep appreciation for the recognition and reiterated the critical role of the legal profession in safeguarding societal interests. He also emphasized the NSC’s ongoing commitment to working closely with the legal community to foster national development.
