Malah, Borno/Yobe Customs Controller Lauds Adeniyi’s Extension of Service, Says CGC is Excellent Performer

Comptroller Muhammed Danja Malah, Customs Area Controller of Borno/Yobe Command has said the extension of service given to the Comptroller General of Customs, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi is a popular decision taken in the national interest while describing the CGC as an excellent performer.

Comptroller Malah who stated this in a goodwill message to said CGC has impacted positively on the service in many ways within a short period of time thereby enhancing Nigeria Customs Service productivity in revenue collection, anti smuggling, trade facilitation and enhanced stakeholder engagement

The Borno/Yobe Controller also said programmes like Authorised Economic Operator(AEO), Time Release Study (TRS), Advance Ruling and the Unified Customs Management System, also known as B’Odogwu have served as game changers across various customs commands and formations.

According to him, the CGC’s example of increased stakeholder engagement fostering greater partnerships with sister government agencies and private sector stakeholders have been inspiring to him and all officers of his command

Malah added that Adeniyi’s emergence as Chairman of the World Customs Organisation (WCO) Council is a testament of recognition at home for his commendable acts which also resonate abroad in the global customs community
