Logistics solution of moving containerised cargoes from Lekki Freeport Terminal to Kirikiri has been devised using barges.

Sources close to the Lekki Freeport Terminal disclosed that full import containers discharged from Port Gdynia vessel last week has been transported in Julius Berger barges to CCIS Nigeria bonded site at Kirikiri

A total of 120 TEUs of cargoes moved in 2 barges has proven to be a viable alternative to the bad port access road in the Lekki area.
