The late wife of Comrade Uzoije Ukaumunna , pioneer President General of the Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria (MWUN) who passed on a few months ago has been slated for burial December 29, 2025 .The service of songs will be held on Saturday, December 6 , 2025 at Ajao Estate Primary School, Ajao Estate, Lagos, by 3pm.
Ukaobisike Uzoije, Son of the deceased who confirmed the development to our reporter, said there will be a service of songs at Ajao Estate preceding the burial on December 29, 2025.
Mr Uzoije said his mother will be buried at Uzoije Ukaumunna Country Home, Mgbokoanya Autonomous Community, Obingwa Local Government Area of Abia State.
According to Uzoije,The past and current President General of MWUN and other members of the Union are expected to be present at the Lagos service of songs.Late Mrs Nwanyieze Ukaumunna was 70.
