Henkel Nigeria Celebrates Next Generation Of Scientists


Henkel Nigeria has, again, restated its commitment to promoting scientific and educational development by engaging pupils of Progressive Primary School, Oyewole, Agege at an event facilitated by its

partner Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), Girls and Women Technological Empowerment Organization (GWTEO).

Managing Director of Henkel Nigeria, Rajat Kapur, who spoke recently at an event to mark the global commemoration of children’s day, stressed that Henkel remains dedicated to inspiring the next generation and fostering a love for science and education.

“We are proud to play a role in inspiring the next generation of researchers and fostering a passion for science. Our ‘Researchers’ World’ initiative reflects our commitment to making a positive impact on the communities we serve.

Also speaking, Coordinator of Girls and Women Technological Empowerment Organisation (GWTEO), Yinka Atoba, highlighted the significant impact on empowering children and fostering a love for science and technology.


She said: “The ‘Researchers World’ initiative has been very instrumental in providing children with hands-on science experiments, promoting critical thinking and creativity.

 Since the Researchers’ World initiative commenced in November 2021, over 1000 pupils have been impacted in several Primary schools in Lagos and Ibadan, Nigeria.
