The group described the action as a strong demonstration of international commitment to the global fight against terrorism and called on President Trump to extend the effort by ensuring that all individuals responsible for terrorist attacks in Nigeria are pursued, apprehended, and brought to justice for crimes committed against Nigerians.

Speaking on behalf of the organization, its Chairman, Mr. Bibi Oduku, urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu not to engage in negotiations with bandits or terrorist groups operating within the country.

He stressed that dialogue with such elements only emboldens them, insisting that Nigeria’s security agencies should instead be fully empowered and supported to decisively confront and neutralize all terrorist threats.

According to Mr. Oduku, no individual involved in terrorism should be allowed to evade justice, including those who may have fled to other locations within or outside the country.

Mr. Oduku noted that the strategies being implemented by the Defence Headquarters are aimed at restoring lasting peace and security across Nigeria and deserve national support and commendation.
He added that these efforts are especially important in honour of the innocent civilians and security personnel who have lost their lives as a result of terrorist violence.

Furthermore, the chairman called on Nigerians to remain vigilant within their communities. He urged citizens who observe suspicious movements or believe their neighbourhoods are being used as hideouts by terrorists or criminal elements to promptly report such activities to security agencies with credible information, noting that public cooperation is vital to safeguarding lives and property across the country.
