EFCC Arrests 31 Suspected Internet Fraudsters in Nassarawa

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested 31 suspected internet fraudsters in Nasarawa state.

According to the Commission’s official platform, the arrest was made on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, during a coordinated operation in Nasarawa, Toto, following credible intelligence reports linking them to different cybercrime activities.

According to the EFCC, several gadgets were recovered from the suspects, including numerous high-end smartphones and laptops believed to have been used in carrying out their illegal work (scams) .

The commission stated that the suspects are currently in custody and will be charged to court as soon as possible.
