Customs Launches Investigation into Suspected Murder of Officer in Kano

The Headquarters of Nigeria Customs Service has launched an investigation into the suspected murder of a Chief Superintendent of Customs, CSC Abdullahi Abdulwahab Maga, whose lifeless body was found in his Kano residence.

Controller of Customs for the Kano/Jigawa Area Command,Comptroller Dauda Chana confirmed to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Kano on Monday that the incident occurred at the deceased’s residence at Farm center in Tarauni Local Government Area.

He said that the Headquarters has authorized the Customs police unit to conduct an intensive investigation in order to apprehend those responsible for the suspected murder of the officer.

NAN also reports The Nigeria Police Force is also investigating the incident and appealing to residents, especially neighbors of the deceased, to come forward with reliable information that will aid the apprehension of those involved in the killing.
