Comptr. Aliyu Urges 74 Newly Promoted Oyo/Osun Customs Officers to Uphold Discipline, Professionalism
The Customs Area Controller of the Oyo/,Osun Command, Comptroller Gambo Iyere Aliyu, has urged the 74 newly promoted officers of the Command to exhibit greater commitment, discipline, and professionalism in the discharge of their statutory duties.
According to the Public Relations Officer of the Command, Abdulmalik Abiodun Akintola who disclosed this in a press release, during the decoration ceremony which was held on 17th September, 2025, Comptroller Aliyu in his opening remarks congratulated the officers on their well-deserved elevation as he noted that the new ranks come with higher responsibilities.
He further charged the officers to redouble their efforts and uphold the core values of the Service while delivering on the Command’s mandate of trade facilitation, revenue generation, and suppression of smuggling.
He also encouraged officers and men of the Command to engage in continuous capacity-building programs to enhance their efficiency and improve overall service delivery.
The ceremony was graced by senior officers, colleagues, and family members, who joined in celebrating the achievements of the newly promoted officers.
