West and Central Africa’s largest airline, Air Peace Limited, has reaffirmed its customer-first strategy with the opening of its Executive Lounge at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport Terminal 2 on February 14, 2026.
The facility was unveiled on Valentine’s Day, symbolising the airline’s appreciation of its customers and underscoring its commitment to comfort, service excellence and the continuous enhancement of premium travel across its growing network.
The event attracted members of the airline’s management and staff, representatives of the media, and First and Business Class passengers on the carrier’s London route. Also in attendance was former Anambra State Governor, Peter Obi, who joined in celebrating another milestone in the airline’s expansion drive.
Designed to offer an elevated pre-flight experience, the ultra-modern Executive Lounge features stylish cream-toned interiors and a contemporary ambience that blends comfort, privacy and sophistication. The lounge accommodates over 39 guests and is equipped with six ergonomic recliner chairs to enhance relaxation.

The facility includes a fully equipped workspace with computer monitors and printing services to support business travellers. Two private sections fitted with tablets and headphones provide quiet spaces for virtual meetings and personal entertainment, while a spacious entertainment area with a large-screen television complements a fully stocked bar offering pastries, soft drinks and assorted beverages.
Passengers also have access to an interactive display showing real-time flight schedules, company information and product offerings. The lounge is secured with a 24-hour, 360-degree surveillance system to ensure safety and convenience.
Speaking after the ribbon-cutting ceremony, the airline’s Chief Commercial Officer, Nowel Ngala, said the Executive Lounge represents a strategic investment in customer experience and brand positioning. He noted that the initiative reflects the airline’s resolve to deliver world-class services in line with global standards while strengthening its leadership position in West and Central Africa.
According to him, the lounge is a gesture of appreciation to loyal premium passengers who continue to patronise the airline on domestic, regional and long-haul routes.

Also speaking at the event, Obi commended the airline’s commitment to innovation and service quality, stressing the importance of indigenous carriers investing in infrastructure that enhances Nigeria’s aviation image on the global stage.
The launch of the Executive Lounge marks another step in the airline’s growth journey, offering premium passengers a refined environment where comfort meets productivity and every journey begins on a high note.
