ACG Jibo Decorates Comptroller Shuaibu, Others With New Ranks, Calls For Increased Dedication

The Assistant Comptroller General of Customs and Zonal Coordinator in charge of Zone A, Mohammed Bello Jibo has decorated Comptroller Bello Shuaibu, Customs Area Controller of Ogun 1 Command and other senior officers within the zone with their new ranks, charging them to increase their dedication to service.

At a well-attended ceremony in Lagos, where newly promoted Comptrollers, Deputy Comptrollers and Assistant Comptrollers were decorated with their new ranks, Jibo while congratulating them, said the promotion should be seen as a conferment of trust which should motivate them to work harder.
The ACG  said the CGC Bashir Adewale Adeniyi is selflessly committed to officers we’ll being and tirelessly worked to see the new Nigeria Customs Service Board inaugurated and sit to approve the promotions.
According the him, the promotions which come with additional responsibilities, should propel all the beneficiaries to  focus better on realising the goals of the NCS under it’s present management team.

Within a short period of assuming headship of Ogun Command, Shuaibu overhauled the anti-smuggling landscape of the area, blending enforcement with intelligence in making seizures of prohibited items including rice, drugs vehicles, ammunition and others without casualties on the part of his officers and members of the public
Shuaibu has a history of unrelenting anti smuggling record through Federal Operations Unit Zone A, Federal Operations Unit Zone C, Owerri; Strike Force Team A and Lagos and other places
