ACG Dangaladima Visits Kano/Jigawa Command, Emphasizes Discipline, Teamwork, and Stakeholder Engagement


Assistant Comptroller General (ACG) Sambo Kaliel Dangaladima, Zonal Coordinator Zone B of the Nigeria Customs Service, conducted a working visit to the Kano/Jigawa Area Command.

They were graciously hosted by the Customs Area Controller of Kano/Jigawa Area Command, Comptroller Dauda Ibrahim Chana.

A press release by Customs Public Relations Officer, SC Saidu Nuruddeen stated that the visit featured a grand parade, where the Zonal Coordinator Zn B addressed the officers and men of the command, emphasizing the importance of discipline, teamwork, and unwavering commitment to the service’s core values.

During his visit, ACG Dangaladima inspected the Habbas Bonded Terminal, assessing its operational efficiency and compliance with customs regulations. He also visited the Customs Training College, where he toured some ongoing projects. Additionally, he engaged in a productive dialogue with stakeholders, including representatives from the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria, business community, Customs licensed agents, and Terminal operators. This interaction provided a platform for addressing concerns, fostering collaboration, and enhancing trade facilitation.

As a seasoned customs officer, ACG Dangaladima reaffirmed the Nigeria Customs Service’s commitment to border security, seamless trade facilitation, and enforcement of federal government policies.
