The late wife of Comrade Uzoije Ukaumunna , pioneer President General of the Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria (MWUN) who passed on a few months ago has been slated for burial December 29, 2025 after a service of songs on Friday, December 6 , 2025.
Ukaobisike Uzoije, Son of the deceased who confirmed the development to our reporter, said there will be a service of songs at Ajao Estate preceding the burial on March 29.
Mr Uzoije said his mother will be buried at Uzoije Ukaumunna Country Home, Mgbooanta Autonomous Community,Obingwa Local Government Area of Ayo Estate Lagos.
According to Uzoije,The past and current President General of MWUN and other members of the Union are expected to be present at the Lagos service of songs.Late Mrs Nwanyieze Ukaumunna was 70
