Azman Air has suspended its operation as its aircrafts are set to undergo C-Checks.
C-checks are periodic inspections that have to be done on all commercial and civil aircraft after a certain amount of time or usage.
According to recent reports, the Airline’s Human Resource Manager ,Magaji Misau, issued an internal memo with the title ‘Placement of Leave without Pay’.
The staff members of the Airline were placed on the compulsory leave with effect from 1st August, 2024.
The memo reads ” As you are aware, our domestic operations have been put on hold for a while due to the conveyance of our aircraft for C-checks, and the MROs have given a longer time of completion”
“The management (has) directed to write and communicate its decision that all staff have been placed on leave without pay with effect from August 1, 2023.”
