Truecaller has incorporated VConnect’s business directory with its app, granting users the platform to identify VConnect’s service providers.
Truecaller, a business and acquaintance social platform in alliance with Vconnect launched the Truecaller priority last year in Nigeria, which enables users to know if the caller is a potential business prospect.
Industry stakeholders said many users scouting for businesses on VConnect.com often dial the numbers mentioned in their profile.
The Director, Growth and Partnerships at VConnect, Naveen Luthra, said, “These numbers, which are routed through VConnect intermediate numbers, are marked as ‘Priority’ in the Truecaller app.“
“This step of integrating our business listings on Truecaller platform will further empower Small and Medium-sized Enterprises in Nigeria to get more visibility and new customers.”
“This partnership deepens the relationships between the two organisations and will bring about digital inclusion of small businesses here.”
Luthra informed that the company would soon set up it’s headquarters in Nairobi, Kenya.
